The company celebrated the one year anniversary Sept. 4 and says it is grateful for the outpouring of members' continued support.
"This last year has been a fascinating and educational experience for everyone here at Desperate Amateurs, as we have shared much laughter and many tears," the company said.
"Our policies and procedures for everything from marketing, to how we screen talent, to how we shoot our videos has been majorly overhauled. I can now say that I am no longer on the outside looking in."
The company adds that with the addition and upgrades of its production equipment and servers, it has been able to improve the quality of its original content and download speeds.
